        • It is a crewed mission to a depth of 6,000 metres in the ocean using an indigenously developed submersible with a three-member crew.

        • Project cost- ₹4,077 crore over a five-year period in a phased manner

  1. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has approved maternity, childcare and adoption leave for women soldiers, sailors, air warriors.
      • The decision is in line with inclusive participation of all women in the armed forces, irrespective of their rank.
      • Benefit
        • It will improve the work condition for the women in military and help to maintain work-life balance.
      • Current leaves available for officers-
        • Maternity leave- leave of 180 days with full pay for each child, subject to a maximum of two children.
        • Childcare leave- leave of 360 days is granted in total service career (subject to child being less than 18 years)
        • Child adoption leave- leave of 180 days is granted after the date of valid adoption of child below one year of age.

  1. Karnataka has launched Puneeth Rajkumar Hrudaya Jyoti Yojana to provide treatment to cardiac arrest patients.
      • Objective
        • To provide treatment to patients within the ‘golden hour’ the period which is crucial to save people who suffer a cardiac arrest.
        • The scheme is named after famous Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar, who died of heart attack.
        • Under the scheme patients will be provided free ECG and Tenecteplase injection will be provided free of cost to those who are critical.

        • SEBI has directed mutual funds to disclose scheme portfolio holdings and top 10 holdings by issuer via a functional web link.
        • Funds must reveal sector-wise allocation to help investors assess risk exposure and diversification.
        • ‘Skin-in-the-game’ regulations require disclosure of the fund manager’s investment in the scheme.
        • AMC’s Board of Directors and key personnel’s aggregate investment in the scheme should be disclosed for transparency and accountability.
      • New Norms for Asset Management Companies (AMC)-
