- Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF), a body under the Department of Telecommunications, has officially launched Telecom Technology Development Fund (TTDF) Scheme.

- Purpose– to stop child marriages and school dropouts as the minimum eligibility to enroll in the scheme is 18 years of age for girls and 21 years for boys
- This scheme will provide financial assistance to the beneficiaries.

- Indian Air force has commissioned its MIG-21 squadron named ‘Swordarms’ based in Jammu and Kashmir.
- This squadron has been replaced by the MIG-29 squadron.
- Currently, the Indian Air force has three mig 21 squadrons.
