   About the declaration
   • It has reaffirmed global commitments towards indigenous knowledges, biodiversity, and traditional, complementary, and integrative medicine.
   • It reiterates that India as host of the WHO Global Traditional Medicine Centre at Jamnagar, Gujarat has an important role in scaling up WHO’s capacities.

2. Archeological Survey of India (ASI) has launched the ‘Adopt a Heritage 2.0’at Samvet Auditorium, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), New Delhi.

• The app named ‘Indian Heritage’ and the e-permission portal have also been launched.
• It clearly defines the amenities sought for different monuments as per theAncient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act (AMASR Act) 1958.

• The conference is the apex-level biannual event facilitating interaction between the Naval Commanders for deliberation and formulation of important policy decisions.
• The Maritime Infrastructure Perspective Plan (MIPP) 2023-37 has been unveiled at the Conference.
• The plan envisions an integrated approach to address the Navy’s infrastructure requirements.
• It aims to harmonize naval infrastructure development over the next 15 years through a meticulously designed perspective plan.

• It is a software platform approach that provides each student with an individualized learning experience by allowing them to progress along their unique learning path through the course content based on their knowledge, skills, and learning needs.

6. State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the introduction of UPI interoperability in its digital rupee, called Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
• Interoperability is the technical compatibility that enables a payment system to be used in conjunction with other payment systems, according to the RBI.
• Interoperability of UPI with the digital rupee means all UPI QR codes are compatible with CBDC apps.
• The interoperability of UPI and CBDC will ensure seamless transactions between a customer and merchant without having the need to switch between multiple digital platforms.

7. Paytm has launched the Paytm Card Soundbox, a device that allows merchants to accept both mobile and card payments, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and RuPay, through its Soundbox.
• Benefit: It will assist merchants in scaling their businesses by offering a “tap and pay” solution via credit and debit cards.

• This initiative will bring features like tracking transactions in real-time, managing expenses, converting purchases into EMIs, redeeming rewards, making repayments, planning monthly budgets, adjusting credit limits, and facilitating seamless payments, all within a mobile application.
• OneCard is a co-branded credit card issued by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) approved Banks and Financial Institutions in partnership with OneCard.
