  1. National Dairy Development Board has signed an agreement with Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) to promote efficient renewable technologies in the dairy industry.
      • As per the agreement, EESL will conceptualise, propose and design technically sound alternate energy generation solutions for plants in the dairy cooperative sector across the country.

      • TEMA and ICCC will work closely to offer cutting-edge programs in diverse spheres such as cyber security, new technologies, railway telecom VSS technologies, education in new technologies, educational programs, and 6G Cooperation Program.
      • Both the organizations will work to facilitate and expedite the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between Canada and India, which is being negotiated for nearly a decade.

Launched the Comprehensive Connectivity Partnership:
● India and EU have announced a Comprehensive Connectivity Partnership on supporting resilient and sustainable connectivity both in India and in third countries and regions, including Africa, Central Asia and the Indo-Pacific that will provide an alternative to China's mega Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
● This is India's first such connectivity initiative with any foreign partner that will cover three geographical zones.
● The EU-India Connectivity Partnership covers cooperation in the digital, energy, transport, and people-to-people sector.
● It includes joint work on standards and the regulatory environment, as well as creating sustainable and resilient infrastructure for connectivity. Private sector will be encouraged to participate in the infrastructure development.
● EU-India Strategic Partnership Review Meeting will be held to monitor the work done under Connectivity Partnership.
● The implementation of this Partnership will be aligned to the implementation of EU-India 2025 Roadmap.
Comparison of Comprehensive Connectivity Partnership with other projects:
● India-EU initiative is comprehensive compared to the Blue Dot network formed by USA-Japan-Australia.
The Blue Dot network aimed to provide assessment and certification of infrastructure development projects worldwide on measures of financial transparency, environmental sustainability, and impact on economic development.
● The India-Japan Asia Africa Growth Corridor launched a few years back focuses primarily on the Indo-Pacific region.

  1. Kotak Mahindra Bank has been selected as a digital payments partner by the National Agriculture Market (e-NAM).
      • Kotak Mahindra Bank will enable and facilitate online transactions for all stakeholders on the eNam platform, including farmers, traders and farmer producer organisations (FPOs).
      • As part of this initiative, the bank will provide payment, clearing and settlement services on the eNAM platform to facilitate trade between a buyer and seller of an agri produce.
