   • The IAD was designed and developed by ISRO’s Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC).
2. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has selected 75 tribal districts to make them TB-free.
3. PM Narendra Modi has launched a new centrally sponsored scheme named PM SHRI (Pradhan Mantri Schools For Rising India) scheme for the development and upgradation of 14,500 schools across the country, on the occasion of 50th National Teacher’s Day.
   • The PM-SHRI schools will have a modern, transformational and holistic method of imparting education.
   • The schools will be upgraded to meet the requirement of the National Education Policy, 2020.
   • PM SHRI will act as “NEP labs”. The PM SHRI schools will also “offer mentorship” to other schools in their vicinity.
   • These schools will be equipped with modern infrastructure including labs, smart classrooms, libraries, sports equipment, art room etc and shall also be developed as green schools with water conservation, waste recycling, energy-efficient infrastructure and integration of organic lifestyle in curriculum.
   • President Droupadi Murmu has present the 2022 National Teacher’s Awards to 45 selected teachers.
