  2. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has started preparing for the flight test for Gaganyaan mission and Vehicle Abort Mission 1 (TV-D1) for the Gaganyaan mission.
      • About the flight test-
        • The test involves launching a crew module to outer space and bringing it back to Earth and recovering it after touchdown in the Bay of Bengal.
        • The test is to be conducted at Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
        • Crew Module will carry the astronauts during the Gaganyaan mission to outer space.

  1. Ministry of Commerce and Industry unveils system based automatic ‘status holder’ certificate under Foreign Trade Policy, 2023.
      • Key Features-
        • Now, the exporter will not be required to apply to the office of Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) for a Status Certificate.
        • The export recognition will be provided by the IT system based on available Directorate General of Commercial Intelligence and Statistics (DGCIS) merchandise export electronic data and other risk parameters.
        • Reduces compliance burden and promotes ease of doing business
        • The Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry will be recognizing about 20,000 exporters under FTP 2023 as Status Holders which will be a quantum jump from the earlier number of 12,518 exporters.

  2. Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) has set up South Asia’s first aircraft recovery training school at Bengaluru airport.
      • The facility is set at the premises of Kempegowda International Airport.
      • It is set up for providing specialised aircraft recovery hands-on training, equipped with state-of-the-art Disabled Aircraft Recovery Equipment (DARE).
      • BIAL will form a strategic partnership with KUNZ GmbH Aircraft Equipment, Germany.

      • Psyche mission is named after an asteroid that orbits the sun in the space region between Mars and Jupiter.
      • This is NASA’s first mission to study an asteroid that has more metal than rock or ice.

        • RBI buys the government securities when there is less liquidity in the system, thereby releasing liquidity into the market.

      • It will be provided to policyholders at no extra cost.
      • The policy will provide coverage for inpatient hospitalization expenses covering post-partum delivery complications for 36 months.
      • The policy will also provide coverage for inpatient hospitalization expenses for any complication for the oocyte donor for 12 months.
