   • The new edition of “Voice International” magazine has been released on the theme of “Collaboration and Partnerships for Voter Education and Awareness”.
2. India launched the official website of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) as the chair of organisation in 2023.
   • The official website of India’s Chairmanship of SCO Council of Heads of State is now live at https://indiainsco.in.
3. India will take over as the Chair of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) from France for 2022-23.
   • Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar will represent the country at the GPAI meeting in Tokyo for the symbolic takeover from France.
   • India joined the GPAI in 2020 as a founding member.
   • Artificial Intelligence is expected to add $967 billion to the Indian economy by 2035. It is also expected to add $450 to $500 billion to India’s GDP by 2025 accounting for 10% of the country’s $5 trillion GDP target.

State News

1. Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik has approved ‘Prarambh — The Odisha State Policy for Children 2022’ for ensuring and fulfilling the rights of children, particularly in the areas of protection, survival and health, education and development.
   • The policy will further strengthen the state’s commitment to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by ensuring rights of children in the state and will significantly improve the overall wellbeing of children.
   • Mukhyamantri Siksha Puraskar Yojana Award and Scholarship Scheme were also launched by Odisha to promote healthy competition among public schools and to honour academic performance.
   • The annual awards totalling Rs. 100 crores will be given to school students, educational institutions, principals, teachers, and school management committees, for achieving excellence in education.
2. Northeast India’s first centre of Unani medicine — a traditional medicinal practice among Ayush systems – has been inaugurated at Silchar, Assam.
   • It was handed over to the Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), an autonomous organisation under the Union Ministry of Ayush.

1. Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) and Foreign Economic Relations Board (FERB) of Turkey have signed an MOU to facilitate trade and investment between Telangana and Turkey.

   • 1M1B is a US-based Not-for-Profit organization.
3. India’s National Museum has signed an MOU with Museum Kolding, Kolding, Denmark to host the joint exhibition of ”Silver Treasures of Denmark and India”.
   • The exhibition will showcase the finest of the silver collection from the Museum Kolding and the National Museum in New Delhi in March 2023.
   • The collaboration and exhibition have taken place under the recently agreed cultural exchange programme between India and Denmark for the years 2022 to 2026.

1. Mahindra group has signed an MOU with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to support women’s economic empowerment in India.
   • The two-year memorandum of understanding (MOU) marks a significant step towards achieving its environmental, social and governance (ESG) commitment of impacting one million women annually from 2026.
2. Jammu and Kashmir rural livelihoods mission (Umeed) and e-commerce firm Meesho have signed an agreement to support the growth of 1,800 self-help group (SHG) members.
   • Reason – for providing an online platform to launch and grow their business and empower rural women entrepreneurs
3. Sachin Bansal-led Navi Group, a technology-driven financial products and services company, has announced a partnership with Piramal Finance to offer the ‘Digital Personal Loan’ to customers across India.
   • Under this partnership, borrowers can avail the personal loans up to Rs 20 lakhs with a tenure of up to 72 months on the Navi app.
4. Shriram Life Insurance Company, a private life insurer, has been empanelled as an Annuity Service Provider (ASP) by the Pension Fund Regulatory Development Authority (PFRDA).
