India’s power capacity projected to reach 1,121 GW by 2035-36
- What: Central Electricity Authority (CEA) projected India’s power capacity to reach 1,121 GW by 2035-36 with around 70% (about 786 GW) from non-fossil sources, showing a strong shift towards clean energy.
