Supreme Court Declares Right to Safe Passage Fundamental under Article 21

  • What: The Supreme Court (SC) declared the right to safe passage on highways a part of the fundamental right to life under Article 21 and issued pan-India directions to prevent road accidents caused by illegal parking and unauthorized structures.
