IIT Hyderabad Launches Civil Nuclear Technology Programme

  • What: IIT Hyderabad, in partnership with Crimson Energy Experts Pvt Ltd (CEEPL), launched ANUGYAN – Nuclear Technology Orientation Programme (NTOP) to develop skilled professionals for India’s civil nuclear energy sector.

Supreme Court Issues Directions to Curb Digital Arrest Scams

ICAR Develops India’s First Indigenous African Swine Fever Vaccine

  • What: Scientists at the Indian Council of Agricultural Research–National Institute of High Security Animal Diseases (ICAR–NIHSAD), Bhopal, developed India’s first indigenous live attenuated vaccine against African Swine Fever (ASF) to protect pigs and support farmers.

    • The vaccine uses a Genotype II African Swine Fever Virus (ASFV) with gene deletions, cultured in the MA-104 cell line.
