19th Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas Convention to be Held in Kolkata from January 7 to 9, 2027
- What: Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced that 19th edition of Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas (PBD) Convention will be held in Kolkata, West Bengal from January 7 to 9, 2027, organised by MEA in partnership with State Government of West Bengal.

- Convention aims to bring together members of Indian diaspora, young diaspora leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, academics, innovators and other stakeholders from across world.

Supreme Court Rejects Approval of Form 6 Changes in SIR
- What: The Supreme Court clarified that it had not approved changes to Form 6 used by the Election Commission during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
