Company Law Committee’s recommendations

Company Law Committee, headed by Injeti Srinivas (formed in September 2019 to review the Companies Act, 2013 and decriminalize the provisions of the Act), has submitted its recommendations.
Already, the government had decriminalised 16 minor procedural/technical lapses and had categorised them as ‘civil wrongs’ through the Companies (Amendment) Act 2019.

ISRO will launch the Cartosat-3

ISRO will launch Cartosat-3 (an earth imaging and mapping satellite) along with 13 commercial nano-satellites of the USA on PSLV-C47 into Sun Synchronous Orbit from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.
• Cartosat-3 is a “third generation agile advanced satellite” having high resolution imaging capability
